Bahamian born, Ray Smith, brings new meaning to the word "entertainer".  His captivating personality radiates, whether he sings his native Bahamian songs or popular ballads.

Ray began his singing career on the cruise ships sailing throughout the Caribbean.  His popularity brought him to well known Bahamian resorts, to include the Lucayan Beach Hotel, Kings Inn Hotel, in Freeport,  and the Jack Tar Resort Hotel in West End Grand Bahama.  As the headliner of the Pirates Den Review in Freeport, he received rave reviews and became known as "The Bahamas Own".

Entertainment critics said "unlike some performers who just go through the motion of entertaining, Ray Smith carries on a love affair with his audience.  His charisma and personality on stage leaves you truly entertained". Ray is also a well renowned percussionist, and song writer.

Ray Smith has performed in several Casinos in the United States to include Atlantic City.

His recent recordings of songs,  The Bahamas, Tropical Isle, and Set Me Free have increased his popularity immensely.  He enjoys performing for charitable organizations such as American Heart Association, and has received several awards and recognition for his participation.
